Sunday Concert Series Ft. Leg Up String Band

The Leg Up String Band enlivens a rich tradition of old-time and traditional songs, bluegrass, blues, folk, roots music and Americana. This New Haven-based group was formed spontaneously at a local open mic in 2022, and includes Christian (upright bass), Jacob (guitar, ukulele), Nick (mandolin, tenor banjo, baritone ukulele), Oriana (fiddle), Tim (guitar), and Tim (banjo, lap-steel, guitar). Drawing on diverse interests and musical experiences, the Leg Up String Band puts their own stamp on a broad spectrum of traditional and contemporary acoustic music, while offering a growing repertoire of exciting original material.
