Our Festbier is a modern, full-bodied golden lager inspired by the beer served at the annual Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.  In contrast to our Oktoberfest Lager which is amber in color and features a rich, toasty malt profile, Festbier is brewed with pale malts which impart a golden color and light, bready malt character.  At 5.5% ABV, it’s also lighter than our more traditional Oktoberfest.  Festbier has been the featured style at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany since the 1990’s, but is not as well known in the U.S. as the historical marzen style.  We hope you enjoy our interpretation of this refreshing seasonal lager.
